HALE, Donald Alfonso - Peacefully at Sunnybrook Hospital, Saturday, October 26, 2013, age 58, after a brave battle with cancer. Born in Jamaica, West Indies, beloved husband for 30 years of Martha (Shulman), father of Aaron, son of Glassine and Lloyd, brother of Carol, Edwin, Elaine and Samantha. Distinguished for his integrity, intelligence and compassion over a 35-year career with Toronto Police Service, where he rose to the rank of Staff Sergeant. Don was big-hearted, charitable, gentle, dependable, loving and strong and loved family, music and black and white movies. Visitation 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, October 30th, Humphrey Funeral Home, 1403 Bayview Avenue, Toronto. Funeral service Friday, November 1st, 11 a.m., St. Cuthbert's Anglican Church, 1399 Bayview Avenue, Toronto.
