I was just thinking about Joan the other day and remembering her zest for life and her unflinching honesty. It put a big smile on my face. I know this is a difficult time for you, please know she is remembered with much fondness.

Dear Vicki and Doug, I sent you an earlier email today....but I don't see it here. Your mother was my dear friend and I cherished her for over forty years. I loved her spirit, sense of adventure, courage and her sense of humour. How she will be missed.

Dear family of Joan Paul, I am so sorry for your loss, I worked closely with Joan for at least 3 years before her retirement, and even after her retirement when she would go to the office once a month. We spoke on the phone frequently and she was a wonderful lady, and very kind. Although I unfortunately cannot attend today's service and share in happy memories of Joan with her friends and family, please accept my deepest condolences for this most difficult time.

Dear Vicky and family, I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with Joan for several years and considered her my friend and mentor when we were at Dundee. She took a chance on a "kid" she met in a donut shop for an interview. I was that kid and she continued to lead me and offer good advice throughout my career. I only wish we had stayed in touch. The world has lost a great lady. We were all lucky to have known her. Blessings

I have fond memories of your Mother, particularly my first ever Christmas stocking that she organized for me. I still have several of the items that were in it. Please accept my sincerest sympathy. Nina Moore
