I was thinking of you a few weeks ago when the seat next to me at the Bills game was empty. Save a seat at the bar for me, Coach.

Last year I told someone I needed to find "Hogee" and give him a big bearhug for being the most influential man in this fatherless boys life, in the late '70's. I waited too long, sorry Coach. Don't forget the purple and yellow "team van" when you take up coaching up there in heaven ! (We were the only team of 14/15 yr. olds in the league who had their own team van, painted team colours, thanks to Hogee) I'll never forget you !

Well Hogee. . . all that good living finally caught up to you ! We have always had lots of 'characters' in the car business, but none were quite like you . . . You were always very generous and loyal to those close to you. . . perhaps your best traits. . . You were certainly eccentric, but aren't we all in our own way ? We had many a good time together. . . Enjoy the party in the afterlife. . . Warm Regards, ~ John

Farewell Hogee. We had some good times and some not so good times. Throughout you were always a charactor - from double decker buses to limo's - and for that I am glad to have known you. May the after life treat you gently so that I may see you again when my time comes.

Linda, you have my deepest sympathy over your recent loss of Lorne. It is so difficult when you lose your husband and best friend at the same time. Take comfort that he floated away peaceully with you by his side, just the way he would have wanted it. He was such a special guy who always called me “Kiddo”. He was just another wonderful fond memory of our Canada Trust days. Love Donna

I was so saddened to hear of Lorne's passing. My memories of him will always bring a smile to my face. He was flirtatious, generous, gracious and a very hospitable man. Will remember his infectious laugh and his beautiful "Anthony Hopkins" eyes (as I always told him). My most beautiful memories will be the many years of getting together with family and friends at the Santa Clause parade, never forgotten. Rest in peace dear Lorne. Linda and Ashlee, you are in my thoughts and prayers. xo

Uncle Lorne is part of some of the happiest memories I have. My memories of the Santa Claus parade will never be forgotten and will always be a part of my favourite childhood memories. I will miss him at events where he would ask if he needed to "beat up any guys for me". He always looked out for others. Family functions will not be the same without you Uncle Lorne. I love you. You will be missed. My thoughts are with you Auntie Linda and Ashlee xo
