I was shocked to learn of Barb's recent death. She was a lovely lady, a member of the Thornhill book club, like me. Our tastes in and critiques of books often coincided, and I very much enjoyed her outlook on life. She will be missed by many at the club. Sincere condolences to her family for having lost her far too soon.

Barb was the best sister-in-law one can only wish for. My brother Jack was "right on" when the made their choice to spend their lives together. For over forty-five years Barb was his loving partner in all aspects of life. Barb was always so welcoming, caring, supportive and helpful to me, her sister and all her friends in her thoughtful, soft spoken manner. She was a wonderful mother to Andrea who was truly her "best friend" and to Mike of whom she was so proud. Her grandchildren "lit up her life" as she did theirs. Truly a beautiful Lady!
