Dear Mary & Family: As we near the hour for Gord's funeral this morning, please know that my heart is with you. Due to the storm, I am unable to travel from our home north of Kingston to accompany my Dad, George, to this celebration of Gord's life, but I have arranged for Dad to hopefully be there despite the weather. Gord was a true and faithful friend to my Dad, and as one of the Hudson kids, we will forever be in Gord's debt for all that he did in these recent years to help Dad in times of failing health. Gord always had a joke for us, and a ready laugh. He was compassionate and faithful, loyal and dependable. It is a great legacy to leave behind, and as we join with you in your sorrow and loss, we also join with you in giving thanks to God for this dear man of faith. Dear Mary, Tom, Don & David, It is with great sorrow that we have learned of Gord's passing. Fortunately, I had a few words with him a couple of weeks ago when he called to inform me of Gord Mackay's passing. We have many fond memories of Gord (my memories go back to Gord and Mary's wedding day)and the numerous family events. He will be sadly missed by everyone in our family. Our deepest sympathies to each of you! We are presently in Florida for the winter and look forward to visiting later this year. Ron & Tina
