Obituary of Lisa Lebitka

LEBITKA, Lisa (January 14, 1966 - January 1, 2012) It is with tremendous sadness that we announce the tragic, unexpected and untimely passing of a loving mother, daughter, sister and friend. Lisa was a devoted and proud mother to daughters Paige and Holly and son Charley, who all adored her. She is remembered with great love by many close and extended family members. Lisa loved her community and those in it, and was proud to call Leaside home. Upon having children, she dedicated all of her time and energy to raising her three children, who she doted on. In recent years, she pursued her passion of interior design and opened her own firm servicing clients in the Leaside community. Lisa, who herself loved the arts, encouraged her children to explore their artistic nature. She introduced them to song, dance, theatre, photography and many times would accompany her children to recitals, galleries and the symphony. Sports were equally prevalent in hers and the children's lives. Each of the children play hockey for Leaside as Lisa had before them. She was a pioneer of the women's hockey within the community. Her smile, laughter, caring and love will be missed by all. We love you and miss you terribly. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville Avenue) from 1-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, January 10 and Wednesday, January 11, 2012. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place in SAINT ANSELM CHURCH, 1 MacNaughton Road on Thursday at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, a trust fund has been established for the benefit of the children. Contributions can be made to The Donaldson Children's Trust at The Bank of Nova Scotia, 1547 Bayview Ave. Condolences and memories may be forwarded through www.humphreymiles.com.
