I met Lisa in the early 1990s when she joined Torys. I remember her as a very kind, generous and giving person ... ever smiling and cheerful. She was a pleasure to work with. We lost touch after she left and I was greatly shocked and saddened to hear the tragic and horrible news of her passing. We cannot know or understand why such terrible things happen to the ones we love but I do believe God has a purpose for everything, and from every bad he creates good! There was a purpose to Lisa's life and there is also a purpose to her death. My prayers and heartfelt sympathy to all of Lisa’s family and loved ones.

My greatest condolences to your family during this very trying time. Lisa, I was deeply saddened and shocked when I heard of your passing. It seems like forever since we were at Northlea Public School together and yet I still remember so many wonderful times of childhood activities and antics. You blossomed into a wonderful mother, business woman, community supporter and great role model. You will be missed by so many that you touched throughout your lifetime. My prayers are with you and your children.

My deepest condolences to your family! Lisa, I didn’t know you that long, we met at Lawrence Square back in early 2011 and learned a lot about each other in a very short period of time, and when I heard the news I cried as if I lost a friend! I was in disbelief. I know we didn’t know each other that long but I will never forget your smile, the sparkle in your eyes and your love and passion for your 3 children. It's not fair that your are gone but God must have needed you for something greater.... Lisa you will be greatly missed by all, may you lay in peace and from above watch over Paige, Holly and Charley. You and your family will always be in my prayers... Krystyna Boksaxoxo

We knew Lisa for such a short time, but her welcome, genuine and friendly nature made you feel like instant friends. She will be greatly missed in the stands cheering for all the kids and chatting to everyone. We saw in that short time that her kids were her world and our hearts go out to them and to her family and friends. Tabatha, Brad, Dane and Jake

Dear Lisa - It has been quite a few years since we chatted, since our working days at the old Dominion Store (now Metro) at Bayview and Eglinton. I was so saddened to hear of your passing. It was like losing a relative and to me, all of us who worked at Dominion back in the late 70's and 80's were like family. I was looking at pictures of us all when we went horseback riding at Rouge Valley Stables - you, Steve, Craig, myself and many others...it just seems like yesterday. You were always so bright and cheery, so friendly and so accepting of others. Your bright eyes and beautiful smile I will never forget. I am sure that God has you in His care now and He will watch over your children. Maybe one day we will see each other again. My deepest condolences to your family. You will be missed. Rick Walsh
