Obituary of Christine Johnston

JOHNSTON, Christine Margaret Aged 74 died at home on Wednesday, July 31, 2013. Born in 1939 in Dundee, Scotland and raised in Tayport, Fife, Scotland, Christine trained as an RN in Edinburgh and was also a trained midwife prior to leaving the UK for Canada in 1964. Worked over 30 years at Toronto General Hospital in the Obstetrical Department until retirement. Will be sadly missed by family in Scotland, including twin brother Colin, sisters-in-law Maureen, Morag and Myra, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME A.W. MILES CHAPEL LIMITED, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville Avenue) from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Monday, August 12.
