Shirley and I grew up in the small town of Virginiatown and I have many fond memories of Susie's baking. Frequently, Susie would put her cookies on a window ledge to cool off and inevitably Shirley and I would enjoy a few without Susie knowing (or did she?). Susie also loved to bake bread and I remember one time in particular where she personally delivered her bread to a group of us camping at McGarry Park. What wonderful memories I have of growing up with the love and support of friends like the Morrisons and in particular, Susie.

What an incredible woman !! Reading the obituary make me realize i didn't take enough time to know her better. I love the sound of her voice and her laugh, so unique! She does have a place in my heart. I will light many candles on friday and saturday at 10 am, wish i could be there. Peace.

We were all saddened to hear of Susie's passing. She was such a wonderful and caring person and will be missed by everyone. We were all blessed to have Susie in our lives.
