IVEY, Barbara Campbell (nee Smith), CM Peacefully in Toronto on Tuesday, June, 18, 2013, at the age of 90. Predeceased by her husband Peter John Ivey. Beloved mother of Cam (Randi), Barb and Alex. Proud grandmother of Adam, Matt and Cam. Lovingly remembered by Barb, Pam and Ian and their families. Barbara was a Member of The Order of Canada, an honour she received for her lifetime of volunteerism. She was a former Chair of The Canadiana Fund, a member of The Ontario Arts Council, and held senior positions on the boards of The Grand Theatre of London, Ontario, The Stratford Festival, The Community Hospice Association of Toronto, The Royal Canadian Regiment Museum of London, Young People's Theatre, The Performing Arts Development Fund of Toronto, The Huron Country Playhouse of Grand Bend, The National Ballet School of Canada, The Children's Hospital of Western Ontario and The Maycourt Club of London, among others. She served as a Rector's Warden at both St. John the Evangelist Church in London and St. James' Cathedral, Toronto. She took particular joy from her role as an honorary Citizenship Court Judge where she presided over citizenship ceremonies for new Canadians. A funeral service will be held in ST. JAMES' CATHEDRAL, 65 Church Street (at King Street East), on Monday, June 24th at 2:00 p.m. A second service will be held on Tuesday, June 25th at 11:30 a.m. in ST. JOHN THE EVANGELIST CHURCH, 280 St. James Street (corner of Wellington Street), London. Private family interment Mount Pleasant Cemetery, London.
