Obituary of Carrie-Lee Clarke

CLARKE, Carrie-Lee October 3, 1940 - June 5, 2013 We have lost a very caring and compassionate person with the passing of Carrie-Lee Clarke on Wednesday, June 5, 2013 in Toronto. Carrie-Lee was a passionate lover of the ballet, live theatre and an ardent Pilates student as well as instructor. She was always there for everyone, family, young and old, especially the kids, and willingly gave of her time to lend a helping hand, to reach out, wherever she could. Always there with a warm smile, and sharp wit and quip, with her ever present books… for she loved to read...although E books would never be tolerated. Loving and patient wife to Frank Durrant, sister of Jane Clarke, Jim (Carol) Clarke, and Doug (Laurie) Clarke. A Great Aunt, and Aunt to Bradley and Christopher Dryborough, Erin, Jim, Sara, Greg, and Katelin. A Celebration of Carrie-Lee's life will take place at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME A.W. MILES CHAPEL LIMITED, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville Avenue) on Thursday, June 13 at one o'clock. Carrie loved flower gardens, however, in lieu of flowers, a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society in her memory is appreciated.
