Dear Rosemary, My thoughts are with you on your father's passing. He knew mining like few others. I got to know him through CIM and during my tenure at CIBC. Blessings, Don Worth

“He was a guiding influence in my career for over 30 years and I greatly benefited from his years of experience. His alert mind and forthright nature were strong principles which demanded a high level of performance and was most beneficial to all who came into contact with him. Thank you Phil for your guidance and support. You will be greatly missed” David and Pamela Libby.

MY CONDOLENCES LYNNE AND ROSEMARY ON THE LOSS OF YOUR DAD. MY DAD & MY MOM, HARRY AND EMMA DUPONT WERE VERY GOOD FRIENDS OF YOUR MOM AND DAD IN RENABIE ONT. ALSO I WAS THE YOUNG GUY THAT DELIVERED YOUR MAIL BEFORE A REGUALAR POST OFFICE WAS BUILT. IT IS SAD TO HEAR OF YOUR DAD'S PASSING BUT SO WONDERFUL YOU TWO HAD SO MANY WONDERFUL YEARS TOGETHER WITH HIM. PHIL AND HIS EXPERTISE WERE RESPECTED THROUGH OUT THE MINING INDUSTRY. IRONICALLY BOTH OUR FAMILIES ENDED UP IN THE BANCROFT AREA. LYNNE YOU MAY RECALL THAT YOUR MOM AND DAD LOOKED AFTER MY SISTER LYNN IN BANCROFT WHILE MY MOTHER AND I LAID MY FATHER TO REST AFTER HIS PASSING THE SPRING OF 1956. I HAVE A FEW MEMORIES OF OUR FAMILIES PICNICING TOGETHER ON THE BEACH AT RENNIE LAKE IN RENABIE. ALL OF THEM VERY TREASURED MEMORIES. YOUR FATHER WILL ALWAYS BE REMEMBERED AS A "GREAT GUY". REST IN PEACH PHIL.

Dear Lynne and Rosemary, I saw the notice of your father's death in this morning's paper and it brought back many memories of my family's interaction with your family both at Renabie and at Dyno. My sister, Ruth, and I both used to be your babysitters when we lived at Dyno. I admired both of your parents very much and feel that living in such small communities gave us invaluable opportunities to be influenced by all the adults around us. I am sorry for your loss. I can only imagine that the past few years have been difficult. Lynne, I have stumbled on a group of people who are sharing their memories of living in Renabie and I would be happy to tell you more about them if you are interested. Sincerely, Jean (Hattie) Collins 905-889-6495
