Obituary of Stephen Kandel

KANDEL, Dr. Stephen Paul M.D., C.C.F.P., A.B.F.P., F.A.A.F.P., Professor Emeritus It is with deep sadness and sorrow that we announce the passing of a larger than life personality, our beloved Stephen on Friday, February 22nd, 2013 at Credit Valley Hospital. He is reunited in heaven with his wife Pamela. Beloved father of Lynda and Stephanie, adored grandfather of Michele and dear father-in-law of Anthony. The Dallas Cowboys and New York Yankees have lost their biggest fan. Stephen was the epitome of class, style, humour, charm, elegance and sophistication with a brilliant mind. A fashionista extraordinaire. A man of warmth, kindness and generosity. A brilliant physician and diagnostician, "Dr. Kan Tell", was an inspiration and mentor to many residents, medical students and nurses following their dream of medicine. If the old adage is true that we achieve immortality in the memories of those we leave behind, we know this wonderful man will live on for many years to come. A celebration of his amazing life will be held on Sunday, April 28th at 2:00 pm at The Phenix Professional Group, 3095 Glen Erin Drive, Unit 1-6, Mississauga L5L 1J3. Wear your best jeans and cowboy boots!
