Obituary of Mary Jordan

JORDAN, Mary Angela, R.N., L.H.S.,S.S.S.J. (Lady of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem, Serving Sister in the Order of St. John) Died in her 70th year peacefully at Mt. Sinai Hospital, Toronto, on Friday, January 4, 2008 after a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved wife of Patrick Albert Jordan for 46 years. Loving mother of Bill (Teresa), Debbie (Todd Godin), Lawrence. Devoted grandmother of Christine, Tyler, Andrew and Matthew. Dear sister-in-law of Frances (Ron Murphy) and Bill Jordan (Margaret), aunt of Sean and Kelly. Lovingly remembered by many cousins, friends and colleagues. Mary graduated from St. Joseph's Hospital Nursing School, Toronto in 1959 and spent her working career at St. Joseph's Hospital, Toronto, Etobicoke General Hospital and the T. Eaton Company Nursing Centre, Toronto Eaton Centre. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East), from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday, January 9. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, January 10 in ST. ANSELM'S CHURCH (1 MacNaughton Road, Millwood and MacNaughton). Interment Mount Hope Cemetery.
