RICHARDSON, Sidney Irving
At Sunnybrook Veterans L Wing on Tuesday, December 25, 2012. Sidney Richardson, in his 91st year, left us peacefully. Beloved husband of the late dear May. Dear brother of Albert (Pauline), and the late George, Arthur and Donald. He will be missed by nephews, nieces, sister-in-law Ellen and also by many friends. Sid was a veteran of World War II, serving with the Royal Canadian Army, and was a P.O.W. Sid's career was with the Provincial Government as a Civil Engineer and he was a member of the Professional Engineers of Ontario, the Royal Scottish Country Dancing Society (RSCDS) and the Gilbert & Sullivan Society. His passions included art, photography and gardening. A heart-felt thanks to the staff, volunteers and residents of the Sunnybrook Veterans L Wing. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 29, 2012 in ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST NORWAY ANGLICAN CHURCH, 470 Woodbine Avenue at Kingston Road at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow.
