Obituary of Anny Zumer

Born on July 31, 1922, Anny passed away peacefully at home on November 21, 2007. Predeceased by her devoted husband, Franc, and her adored brothers, Miro (Tili) and Ivan (Tinka). Best friend and beloved mother to her two favourite girls, Anne Marie and Barbara. Sadly missed by her brothers, Vincent (Ani) and Max (Meta) and all her favourite nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the Temmy Latner Centre for Palliative Care and the fabulous staff at the Samuel Lunenfeld Mountainview Club at Baycrest for making her journey a much happier one. Also, a special thanks to Dr. Morris Freedman, Mindy Halper, Anna Grinberg and Diane Phillips at Baycrest, Dr. Russell Goldman, and her amazing caregivers, Jean Symons and Jennifer Charles. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East) from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon on Friday, November 23, 2007.
