I remember Mrs. Zumer as a real lady, so kind and loving. I remember the sweet aromas from her kitchen and good conversations on the latest fashions. I'm glad I knew her, she enriched my life and I'll think of her whenever I walk by the house. Sincere condolences.

Dear Anne Marie and Barb, I send you my sympathies with a heavy heart. I have thought of your mother often, but to my regret I did not get to see her in the last few years. And now I regret that I will not be able to say my farewell in person. I have so many fond memories of your mother since our families spent so much time together. Memories from regular visits (your parents and my parents went out for coffee or movies often when they were younger. I still laugh about them seeing Fanny Hill, when they thought it was a comedy Funny Hill), the Slovenian theatre and of course Balm Beach. She was always so welcoming with her bright smile and her generosity. She will be missed by us all. I wish you and your family all the best and please do call if ever you are in need of anything. Gospa Zumer will live forever in our memories. You are in our thoughts and prayers, Miriam and family

I was so sorry to hear about Mrs. Zumer passing. Having been in the states for the past 10 years I have lost touch of people that were so close to me as a child. I only hope that my children will have someone like Mrs. Zumer in their lives. My fondest memories are of her up in Balm Beach and the summers I spent with my grandparents. I will make sure to keep her in my prayers and like all those summers as a child, make sure that my children have someone to buy them ice cream on a hot summer day.

Please accept our sincere condolences on the loss of your mother. It is with great sadness that I read of her passing. My mother always spoke of "Rakova Ancka" with great fondness and before her(my mom's) passing I knew they kept in touch on a regular basis and were good friends. Unfortunately we are unable to extend our sympathy in person. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and for your mom. Helen Rezek (Marn)
