Obituary of Jocelyn Foster

JOCELYN FOSTER (nee Gurney) November 28, 1913 - August 24, 2006 Peacefully at The Harold and Grace Baker Centre. Wife of the late Andrew Archibald Foster. Beloved mother of Sally Ann Brooks (Gerry). Predeceased by her sister Helen Johnston and brother Edward Ross Gurney. She was a graduate of The Bishop Strachan School, Toronto and Sarah Lawrence College, Bronxville, New York. During her life she was a longtime member of the Badminton and Racquet Club, The Toronto Hunt, The Toronto Cricket, Skating and Curling Club, as well as a judge with the Canadian Figure Skating Association. She was also a member of the I.O.D.E. and sat on the Boards of North York General Hospital and Hillcrest Convalescent Hospital. A private service has taken place.
