In watching the Olympics, I have been reflecting back on my experiences as a young figure skater. Jocelyn Foster popped into my head. I was only about 10 or 11 and not feeling very confident. Your mom judged me in a dance with James Yorke as my coach. She uplifted me in such a wonderful way, provided me with constructive feedback and lots of positive praise. About a year later she remembered me at a competition. I bc was very touched. I just wanted to let you know that even though I was no where near Olympic level, she was part of what figure skating should be.
