Dr. Herbert “Herbie” K. Lee was my professor at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College during the ‘80s. He was also one of my most cherished friends, my personal chiropractor, and a most amiable and compassionate human being. He had distinctive qualities that made all who were in his presence feel at ease. As a patient, I undoubtedly gained invaluable hands-on experience. On one particular visit, I recall asking Dr. Lee how he remained so consistently genuine and happy. And as he chuckled gleefully, he said that one must learn to “develop happiness.” This was the golden moment that enlightened me to the most profound maxim that governs each and every day of my life. Dr. Lee’s legacy is etched into the hearts and minds of his adoring followers, and he will always be remembered as an honorable man. Thank you my dear friend, and thank you for making this life sweeter than I would have ever known. In closing, I would like to take this opportunity to express my deepest and most heartfelt sympathies to his family. Perry A. Prudhomme, D.C. (Class of ’87)

Dr. Irving Pisarek posted a condolence

Dear Lee Family: It is with great sadness that we learned of the passing of Dr. Lee. Dr. Lee was a 'pillar' in the chiropractic community, both locally in Toronto and globally. I had the fortunate pleasure of being taught many techniques by him when I was a student at CMCC, having graduated in 1976. He often shared many chiropractic stories with me. We know that the love from your family and friends will give you strength during this most difficult time. May you find comfort and peace in the many cherished memories you have of him. He will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Dr. Irving and Hilda Pisarek
