PATERSON-SMYTH, The Reverend Canon John, (Graduate of Trinity College 1951, former Rector at St. Cyprians, St. Chads, and St. Cuthbert's, Toronto) Passed away after a long illness at Toronto on Monday, October 22, 2007 at the age of 81 years. Beloved husband of Isabel. Survived also by his nephews and niece. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East), from 7-8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 24. Requiem Mass in CHURCH OF ST. MARY MAGDALENE, 477 Manning Avenue (at Ulster).
