Obituary of Katherine Jane Segsworth

SEGSWORTH, Katherine Jane, B.A., LL.B. Peacefully at Toronto on Saturday, April 15, 2006. Born on August 26, 1946, Katherine was the cherished daughter of the late Robert Leroy Segsworth and Jean Margaret Segsworth, and stepdaughter of Elaine Segsworth.. Dear sister of Walter (Nancy Jo). Aunt of Megan, Andrea and Caroline, and great-aunt of Thomas. Best friend and life companion of Joseph Red Sheedy. She will be lovingly remembered by her extended family, colleagues in the legal community, at Prudential, and by her many friends from St. Clement�s School, Queen�s University, Osgoode Hall, the Toronto Cricket Club, and at her cottage in Bobcaygeon. A special thanks to Dr. Ellen Warner, Dr. Mary Vachon, and to the caring staff at Sunnybrook Regional Cancer Centre. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East), from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. Wednesday. A service to celebrate Katherine�s life will be held in METROPOLITAN UNITED CHURCH, 56 Queen Street East on Thursday, April 20 at one o�clock. The family would appreciate donations in Kathy�s memory to the Sunnybrook Regional Cancer Centre, 2075 Bayview Avenue, Toronto M4N 3M5.
