I had the distinct pleasure of working with Kathy for some years - I was counsel to Prudential in Manitoba at the time. I was not aware of her illness, and was dismayed to learn of her death (from a colleague of hers in their Prudential days). Kathy was, as you know, an excellent lawyer, who always displayed great professionalism and courtesy to her confreres. More importantly, she was, quite simply, a fine woman - someone who always seemed to have her head screwed on right. I have some fond memories of her sense of humour and her ability to be realistic and to act accordingly, when the need arose. Not all lawyers have that capability. My sincere condolences to you - her family - on your loss. Rick Adams, Winnipeg
