Obituary of Wallace Richard Joyce
JOYCE, Wallace R. (WWII) - Retired Actuary with Imperial Life Insurance, Long-time member of Arts & Letters Club, Toronto Camera Club, Granite Club, Alpine Club of Canada, U of T University College '36, Boys Scouts of Canada and a major supporter of the arts including Frederick H. Varley Gallery of Markham and The McMichael Gallery. Resident of Briton House. Died peacefully at Toronto on Thursday, December 9, 2010 at the age of 95. Predeceased by his brother James H. Joyce (1995). He is remembered by extended family and many friends. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville Avenue) from 12 noon on Monday, December 13 for service in the chapel at 1:00 p.m. Interment Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
