Sandpaper posted a condolence

On behalf of fallen police officers and their families, I would like to pay tribute to a true hero to Canadian policing. In most jurisdictions across Canada there is no “Widow/Widower & Orphans Fund” to support the surviving family members for police officers who have been killed in the line of duty. It’s hard enough to have to deal with the loss of a loved one, but to have the additional burden of lost finances just adds to the heartache. Mr. Robert Warner forged a relationship with The Canadian Police Association and started the Robert Warner Memorial Fund in support of those who supported our fallen. Although the fund remains in its infancy, the efforts that Mr. Warner put forth will be realised by generations to come. His legacy will remain, and both his kindness and generosity will not be forgotten. “Sandpaper” - President Warthogs Motorcycle Club - Hamilton

I feel that Mr. Warner loss is a loss to all the people who knew him he was the happiest person that I ever knew during my brief work acquaintance at Paymaster. He taught all of us to be happy and joyful. He always stood by all of us in all the difficult and good times making us a big part of a happy Paystation family. He was a kind and gentle person. I will miss his generous nature and each time I will eat one of his favorite Ferrero Rocher Chocolate. May God bless his soul and complete all his wishes. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, and we are sharing the burden of this great grief. May God bless Mr. Warner’s soul. With love and sympathy, Rahul Srivastava
