Dear Bill. I'm sad to hear of Katharine's death. She was such a warm and welcoming person. Bob, I know, would be devastated at your loss. Wonderful memories will help you through this bad time. Love, Callie

Bill, I read the notice in this mornings Globe. I just wanted to express my deepest sympathy on the passing of Kay. I knew that she had struggled with cancer for several years. I enjoyed seeing both of you at the Northdale Reunion a couple of years ago. I know how much she has meant to you over the years. One of my fondest memories was of a visit to your home with the Theatre Arts Group from Northview. We were generously treated to a wonderful BBQ out in your backyard. Kay was always so lovely and warmly welcomed us into your home. I send a big hug and my deepest condolescenses during this difficult time. My thoughts are with you, Bill, Love Debra

Katharine was one of the kindest and best people that I have ever known. The last time I saw her she had just come from listening to a wonderful performance of Haydn's "Creation" at Massey Hall. Katharine rejoiced in creation each day of her life. She knew that each day was a gift--and she lived her life fully and completely in humility and love. She had great sensitivity and consideration for others--and this was reflected in all aspects of her life. She loved life--and she was a lovely person to know. Her life blessed us all. I would like to extend my condolences to Bill and to the rest of Katharine's family. I pray that God will comfort you and give you strength and that Katharine will always live in your heart.
