Joanne and Gordon, I'm sorry that I'm out of town and unable to deliver my condolences in person. However, I am with you in spirit and friendship as you celebrate your mother's extraordinary life and join with family and friends to say goodbye to her. I received a calendar of Dalai Lama sayings for Christmas. Today's entry reads: "Realize that the very nature of life is that what has gathered will eventually disperse - parents, children, brothers, sisters and friends.
