Ken Ainsworth was one of the most influential men in my life. He was one of my Dad's best friends. Our family thought the world of Ken and Vera. We were blessed to have them as neighbours. They were there for me throughout my life. Ken taught me to Jive (to Bill Haley's Rock Around the Clock). I remember him with his guitar singing and enjoying the moment. Ken made me sing for my supper when having dinner with the family. I thought that was a ritual everyone had to endure but evidently I was the only person who believed it had to be done in order to stay and dine with my best friend, Jo-Anne. I wish I could look back now and see them smiling at how seriously I took that challenge. Usually I sang 'A White Sports Coat". I am sure a beautiful rendition by an 6 or 8 year old girl. They always made me feel important and welcome. He was a kind and loving man. I am truly grateful to have known him and to have his guidance and example as a incredible human being. He will be missed but never, ever forgotten. Peace be with you. Thanks for the memories, Bonnie

I did not know Ken but know his daughter Suzanne as a dear friend and work colleague. If a person can be judged by the people his children become then Ken was a great man. Suzanne often speaks of her father and her body language as well as her words make it clear she admires and respects him and he is a great man in her eyes. My thoughts, prayers and best wishes are with Suzanne and her family as they bereave Ken's death while celebrating his wonderful life and the positive impact it had on each of them.

Dear Ken and the Ainsworth family, while I did not know Mr. Ainsworth directly, I knew him through his son whom I am certain is a strong reflection of his father's character. In working with Ken I have come to know him as a positive, thoughtful and caring person who always works to make people smile. I believe these must have been gifts of his parents. Having lost my father recently my heart goes out to you at this time and I send you all my sincerest condolences at you recent loss of a love one. Warmest regards, Valerie Davis

My heart is sadden to read of the passing of Ken Ainsworth. I had the privilrge of working for Ken and Ainsworth Electric for many happy and rewarding years. It was if you were part of a family as we all grew up in the same neighbourhood. It was a priviledge to be a part of the Ainsworth Organization and to know Ken for those many years. Unfortunately, my wife Jackie and I will be out of town and will not be able to attend the "Celebration of Ken's Life" Our sincere condolence to the family. Allen & Jackie Pim
