To the Price Family, I met Betty as a young graduate of Smith College around 1980. For the past 29 years, I witnessed how her warmth and enthusiasm at the meetings and events made everyone feel welcome. The age diversity of the Toronto Smith Club was what made our Club so special. We all had the shared experience of Smith College that connected us through the lenses of our different stages in life. I will miss Betty with her engaging smile and keen intellect. She was such an asset to the Club and will be missed by so many of us. My condolences to the family. She was very special.

Dear Sandy and family: Our good friend Betty is gone, and I will miss her. At Smith Club meetings, she made everyone feel special with her warmth, grace and humour. She had a gift for welcoming you into her circle. For me, that often meant giving me a heads up about fabulous rummage sales she knew about first-hand because of her volunteer work at Goodwill Industries. I am so sorry to miss today's service, but please know that your mom, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister made an enormously positive impression on me. May you all know no further sorrow, Madelyn Herschorn

Betty will be sadly missed by all of her friends at the American Women's Club of Toronto. She was such an active member, I can't remember a function where she was not present. She was a quiet and gentle soul yet always ready to get involved and help out. I fondly remember when I had a fire at my home how she showed up with food and a helping hand to sort through my belongings. We have lost a special person. My condolences to the family.

Dear Richard, Linda, Sandy and Michael, I am truly sorry for the loss of your mom, Betty. I had the pleasure of knowing her as my mom's dear friend over many years. She was an exceptional woman, and loved her family wholeheartedly as she almost always had photos and stories to share. She was also an incredible friend to our entire family, especially my mom. We are all very grateful for the gift of her friendship, will cherish the many wonderful memories we shared and will greatly miss her. Please let me know if there is anything I can do for you during this time, as I am thinking of you. Heather Brooks

Dear Sandy and family, As I remember all the great parties that Michael and Natalie have had over the years, I have many fond memories of seeing Betty at just about each and every one of them. The first time I brought Brad to meet the extended family it was Superbowl 2005. Busy helping my sister and talking with other guests I realize that I had left Brad to fend for himself with all the new faces. It wasn't too long after that I noticed that Betty and Brad had struck up a great conversation about something or other, and I joined in. I will always remember her beautiful smiles and her warm presence and a very tasty cheese ball that I remember enjoying. Brad Owen and myself would like to express our sincere condolences to the entire family on the recent passing of Betty.
