Obituary of Terence Scott

SCOTT, Terence William: Terry passed away following a brief illness at Scarborough Centenary Hospital in Toronto on March 21, 2009. Predeceased by his loving wife of 60 years, Anne, he is survived by his children, Patricia McCracken (John Chittley), Greg (Susan), Kathy (Bob Sherman) and Chris. He will be missed by his grandchildren, David McCracken, Kevin, Megan, Kyle and Becky Scott and great-grandchildren, Charlie, Theo and Hannah. Born in Belfast, Northern Ireland, in 1924, the son of Frances and William (both deceased), he came to Canada as a child and enlisted in the RCAF on his 18th birthday. At the end of the war, he worked for Eaton's and then moved to IBM in 1953. He worked there until his retirement 35 years later. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville Avenue) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday, March 24. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:15 a.m. on Wednesday, March 25 in the CHURCH OF THE ANNUNCIATION, 3 Combermere Drive, North York.
