I was very saddened to read of Terry's death. I first met Terry in 1961, when he hired me in the IBM Toronto datacentre. As a new immigrant in Canada, I have always been grateful to Terry for having given me the job at IBM, where I worked for 36 years. He and I worked together for many years at IBM and I was always impressed by his patience, good humour, and gentle manner. I extend my condolences to all of Terry's family, especially to Chris, with whom I also worked at IBM.

We are so sorry to hear of the passing of your Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather. We are thinking of you all and know that you will find solace in each other and in the fact that he is now with your mom again. Love to you all!

When I was a child, Terry and Anne taught me how to swim at Birch Point Lodge in Haliburton. We shared vacations and good times for what seemed like forever up in the Highlands. Terry introduced me to jazz and played all his favorites for me, especially Miles Davis and John Coltrane. Growing up, we spent many Sundays together over supper. Afterwards we kids would go out the back to watch free movies! IBM was another common area: my Dad George, Terry, Greg, my brother Gary, and Chris all worked for the same company in different areas. My condolences to Pat, Greg, and Chris. Mike Copland
