REYNOLDS, William John (Jack), M.D., F.R.C.P. (C)1933 - 2009 It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jack on Wednesday, March 18, 2009. A very special man who was the beloved husband of Beverley (nee Morton) for forty-eight years. Devoted father to David (Charlene), Paul and Anne (Chris) Finnigan. Loved grandfather of Angus, Rachel, Fiona and Matthew. He is survived by his brother Eric (Pat). Jack was born in The Pas, Manitoba, son of a Presbyterian minister and lived mostly in Ontario. He graduated from the University of Toronto Medical School in 1958. In his second year of medical school, he acquired his degree in music. He completed his fellowship in internal medicine and then spent a year in England as a fellow in Rheumatology. He practiced at Toronto Western Hospital for forty-three years. He was assistant professor of medicine at the University of Toronto. His family, his medical practice, his love of music and his church meant the world to him. A memorial service will be held at ST. ANDREW'S PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, 75 Simcoe Street on Saturday, March 28 at 1:30 p.m. If desired memorial donations may be made to The Arthritis Society, 393 University Avenue, Suite 170, Toronto M5G 1E6 or to St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church (M5J 1W9).
