Obituary of James Whelan

WHELAN, James (Jim) Peacefully on Sunday, March 15, 2009 at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in Toronto at the age of 58. Jim is survived by his children, David and Alison, his mother, Marcella, sisters, Sheila and Margaret, and brother, Edward, brother-in-law Bob Reaume and sister-in-law Lynn Whelan. He was predeceased by his daughter, Katie and his father, William. Jim will be missed by his many colleagues in the advertising industry. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville Avenue) from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 19. A Funeral Mass will be held in OUR LADY OF FATIMA, 3170 St. Clair Avenue East, Scarborough at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 20.
