Obituary of Joyce Scane

SCANE, Joyce Beverley (nee Ribchester)At home, in her sleep on Saturday, February 28, 2009, at the age of 78. Joyce was the beloved wife and partner of Ralph for over 52 years, beloved mother of Leslie (Neil Mitchell), Valerie (Michael Challis) and Anthony (Jill Vienneau). She was a loving grandmother of Sean and Ryan Mitchell, Nicholas and Timothy Challis and Jackson Scane. A dear sister to Willa. She was predeceased by her sister Shirley. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville Avenue) from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 5, 2009. A service will be held at ROSEDALE UNITED CHURCH, 159 Roxborough Drive (at Glen Road) on Friday, March 6, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. If desired, please make a donation in Joyce's memory to a charity of your choice.
