Obituary of Joan Murphy

MURPHY, Margaret Joan (nee MacKay)On January 9, 2009, at the Lansing Retirement Home in Toronto, Ontario at the age of 88 years. Beloved wife of the late William (Bill) Murphy. Loving mother to Margaret Fearon (Blair) and dear grandmother to Kyle and Andrew, all of Toronto. Also she is survived by her brother Donald MacKay (Helen) of Ottawa. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East), from 6 p.m. until the time of the service in the chapel at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, January 13. A memorial service will also be held in Sydney, Nova Scotia at a later date.
