COLLINS, Robert John With deepest sorrow, we announce the sudden death of Bob Collins on Thursday, August 16th 2007, at his home. September 10th would have been his 83rd birthday. Dearest, beloved father of Lesley and Cathy. Loving son of the late Jack and Floy. His daughters will receive family and friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East), from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Friday August 24th. A memorial service and reception commemorating Bob as a wonderful father, friend, writer, and editor will take place in ST. CUTHBERT'S CHURCH, 1399 Bayview Avenue on Tuesday, August 28th at 2 p.m. If desired, donations made in Bob's memory to an animal welfare organization of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
