CRITTENDEN, Dorothea Monta, B.A. University of Toronto; Honourary Doctorate of Social Work, Lakehead University; first woman Deputy Minister in Ontario; Deputy Minister of Community and Social Services; Chairperson of the Human Rights Commission for OntarioDied peacefully at Toronto on Saturday, December 6, 2008 at the age of 93 years. Beloved daughter of the late Damon and Emma Crittenden. Greatly missed by her many friends. A service will be held at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East), on Thursday, December 11 at one o'clock. Interment with her parents will take place at a later date in St. Thomas, Ontario.
