When My good Friend Sandra relayed the news to me Friday afternoon we were at a waterfront restaurant ... the floor disappeared beneath my feet and I felt as if i were free falling. I had to excuse myself and just sit on the waters edge, hanging my feet over the peer and hanging my head and weeping selfishly for my loss of a good, good person.
I feel a huge regret knowing I will not see her again or share laughter with her and Jim and Sandra as that is how it would usually be, with us gathered together thanks to Sandra.
She is (can't do the past tense yet sorry) an elegant, amazing, graceful,stylish woman who could cuss and dis-cuss with every type of person she met - Amazing and Interesting and accepting of those around her.
My feelings go out to all of her family, I am so grateful to have shared time with her and I can only imagine a small percentage of the loss you must be feeling. When she spoke of family you knew the were of huge importance and her own secret garden of delight.
Thank you Jodi for demonstrating what an amazing woman is.

We're going to miss our dear Jody immensely. She was a wonderfully fun and supportive friend. We traveled many roads and crossed several bridges together. We started real estate, in the same company, just one year apart and we both began managing our respective offices the same year too. Life will not be the same without Jody. Godspeed, I hope that you're kicking up your heels with your beloved mother. Please keep a watch over us all, as you always did. See you in the next life.
