Dear Ethel & family, Word was sent to me here in Surrey. B.C. that Stuart had died last Sunday. I am very saddened to hear that. The death of a good man, wonderful father and faithful and supportive husband leaves a very large empty space in the heart of a family. I think that Stuart and yourself were nearing or have passed your 60th weddings anniversary. You were both blessed with such a good and long life together and wonderful families. Please pass on my heartfelt sympathies and sincere condolences to Michael & Fran, Elaine & Joe and Bob and Gayle and their children. I will offer my Sunday Mass for Stuart and will include him in my prayers and other spiritual reflections during this Advent. I am enjoying my third snow-less winter out here on the west coast. It's a wonderful piece of Canada. Although Christmas will be a little quieter this year, still I hope that you all come together and celebrate hope and joy and the gift of all your lives. Fr.
