HOLLETT, Gertrude Elizabeth (nee Shergold)Born in Toronto on September 25, 1917, died at her home on Monday, November 17, 2008 at the age of 91 with her niece Wendy (Bob) by her side. Beloved wife of the late George. Dear mother of John and his wife Joyce, Bill and his wife Ingrid. Grandmother of Bill (Janice), George (Angela), Tim (Silvana), Elizabeth (Jim) and Terri (Julian). Great-grandmother of Matthew, Owen, Tommy, Austin, Sienna, Emily, Maria, Geoffrey and Meryl. Beloved aunt of David and Stanley Atkinson. Best friend for 89 years to Doreen Airey. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East) from 7-9 p.m. on Thursday, November 20. Funeral service will be held in NORTHLEA UNITED CHURCH, 125 Brentcliffe Road, Toronto at 11 a.m. on Friday, November 21. Interment at Highland Memorial Gardens.
