John Alexander MartinMarch 10, 1934 - October 29, 2008It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of John (Bud) Martin on Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at the Toronto General Hospital. Predeceased by his wife Barbara, John will be fondly remembered by his many friends. John retired from Neilsons/Weston Foods in 1990 where he served for many years as Vice President of Sales and Manufacturing. John was a long time member of the Thornhill Golf and Country Club. An accomplished curler, John skipped many teams to victory, including the Canada Life Curling Trophy in 1967 and 1968. A celebration of John's life will be held for friends at the THORNHILL GOLF AND COUNTRY CLUB, 7994 Yonge Street, Thornhill on Wednesday, November 19th from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Toronto General & Western Hospital Foundation, Multi Organ Transplant Program, R.
