Dearest Jen, I only heard yesterday about Ben's passing. That I was not able to be with you at the visitations and the service will be my everlasting sorrow. When I saw you last, you never looked so happy and I know it was due to Ben and your love for each other. To have had such a love even for such a short time is a blessing which you will never forget. Ben, you and both your families are in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Jen, family, and friends; If a man be judged by his friends, the he was apparently a great and loving man. Although I did not get to meet Ben, I heard how fantastic he was, and how in love the two of you were. My thoughts go out to you, his family and yours during this difficult time. Love, Hugh.

To the Salvarinas Family, I am saddened to hear of the passing of one of the most lovely guys I knew at university. He was such a character. I moved to Australia and since lost touch with Ben, but I was always hearing snippets of what he was doing. I will say a prayer for him. Kindest regards, Lesley

Dear Jen-Chris and I did not have a chance to get to know Ben very well but what we did come to know was that he had a zest for life and an energy that was contagious. We enjoyed our few chats with him immensely. Our most sincere sympathy to you and his family on his much too premature death. Our thoughts and prayers are and will be with you in the difficult weeks and months ahead. We know you are surrounded by many who care for you and hope that that support and the happy times you and Ben shared will ease the pain. Dear Jen & Jim, John & Mary, Kathy & Sebastian Words cannot convey the enormous sadness we feel over the loss of our dear Ben. He had been through more than most people and we always said a prayer for him. We will always remember him for his smile that radiated the room he walked in, and his pleasant nature. He had so much to live for. Jen, the last time we saw him, he mentioned that you were out of town and that he was lonely without you - may that be a comfort to you in the difficult days you face ahead. He was very well respected and loved by all. Our thoughts and prayers will be with all of you. God rest his soul.

Jordan and I are heartbroken over the sudden passing of our dear friend Ben. Jen, in all of our years of knowing Ben, he was never happier than when you came into his life. We are so happy that we had that last wonderful evening together to laugh and reminisce. Ben was always larger than life. Jordan always said that "everyone should have a friend like Ben". We are all better for having him in our lives. All our love, Jordan and Amy Greenberg.

Heartfelt condolences on the loss of our beloved Ben. May his memory forever be a blessing to all who knew him. He brought joy and happiness into our home over the years. Ben's great sense of humour and his intelligence added so much to the many family dinners that he attended. His great thoughtfulness and mindfulness of the needs of others will never be forgotten. Ben, you will always hold a very special place in our hearts.

Our deepest sympathies to Jen and Jim and your families. Not having known Ben for too long, we probably just scratched the surface of his amazing life in our conversations with him. It didn't take long for us to determine that Ben was one of the "good guys". He was one of those people you always wanted to get to know more fully, knowing that you'd be better off because of your friendship with him. His energy and enthusiasm kept him on the go, but he always had time to wave and to chat. Our prayers are with his friends and family. May God rest his soul. Graham, Dianne & Amy Evanoff and family

We were very sorry, and shocked, to hear of Ben's death. He was a wonderful friend to our son Patrick for twenty five years, so we came to know him well. It was great to follow his rich life and talk to him from time to time. Ben will always remain in in our memory, and our sympathies are with Jen and his family.
