Colin was a great supporter of the church and the members. We sang in our small choir together which was often a challenge we rose to.
After church on Sunday he would perform his ministry by taking who ever was available to breakfast where we would share stories.
A box of chocolates often appeared at services to be shared. Cards and flowers went to those who were sick.
He has not been around since he sold his home in Port Carling and he was missed.
Our love, prayers and blessngs go to all who have known this thoughful man.
Your friend,
Saundra

Colin will always be remembered with a smile on our faces. His humour was infectious and his kindness and thoughtfulness will be carried in our hearts forever. Many years ago I worked with and learned from Colin at Loblaws. He was always surrounded by many work friends. Colin was usually the centre of work social events. Prior to retirement he organized a great fun filled skii day for everyone in the office. I also remember his retirement party where he received a new set of skis so he could shed his wooden skis and continue downhill skiing during his retirement years.
He will be dearly remembered and sadly missed "and so on and so forth"..........

I had the privilege of working with Colin at Loblaws thirty years ago. Colin was proud of his many, many years at Loblaws. He put a smile on my face, and numerous others who worked there, each and every day. He made coming to work fun and yes, sometimes "an adventure". I learned a lot from working with Colin and I must say, there are few people who could make tax administration "a hoot", yet Colin managed it. Colin was a thoughtful, caring and very generous man who made life anything but boring! He had a feisty, infectious, loving spirit. Colin will be gravely missed by all that knew him. Erica

Colin will be sadly missed by all. He touched so many lives with his countless hours of volunteer work and mentoring those who had the opportunity to work with him. He was funny, witty and had such a way with words. Above all, he was a very kind and generous person. We are thankful to have had the opportunity to know such a great person like Colin. Our heartfelt condolences, Tony & Jean Sue-Curro & Family

So terribly sad to hear of Colin's passing. Such a wonderful and generous friend. Colin secured the first tee-off time at Muskoka Lakes Golf & CC for many years. He enjoyed sitting in his delegated rocking chair in the corner of our pro shop just to observe. At times he would even answer the phone when we were running around like chickens with our heads cut off. His favourite expression to us was "keep your cool". We treasure our relationship with Colin and will always cherish the memories of our many meals together. Di & Ross ~ Diane & Ross Conklin, Bracebridge, Ontario
