I will always remember Mrs. Walsh for many many things....great friend to my mom and our family . But what stands out the most was the many many phone calls we got from her...our dog was in her backyard again. I would go up and get our dog ....take home cookies....and it would happen again and again...I most recently picked her up at amica and took her to see my mom Ruby for ruby's birthday in October.... I dropped her off at home and she glowingly smiled and said see you soon....

Dear Susan, Patti, Marc and families, My deepest sympathy to you all at this time. Your mom was a very special person and such a big part of our lives. So many memories of growing up in Toronto involve ''Mrs Walsh' . She was a true friend of the Harpers and especially of mom. For that we will always be grateful. All of us in Victoria are thinking of the Walsh family at this sad time. Joan Walsh was a true friend to all the Harpers. I enjoyed Joan enormously and was so glad to see her not too long ago when I was visiting Toronto. She was a vibrant and caring person.
