Gus was such a sweet and gentle person and had the greatest sense of humour. He had such a positive outlook and made everyone feel special. Gus never had a bad thing to say about anyone. Dear Catherine, Michael and Mary Kate, We were so saddened to hear of Gus's illness and sudden passing. We all knew Gus to be a happy, friendly neighbour who always took the time to say hello and tell a joke or a funny story about the kids. His kind and loving nature was evident in the schoolyard where he could often be found waiting patiently for Mary Kate to finish "one last game". He was so proud of Michael and Mary Kate and he clearly adored them. We all could see how much he loved you, Catherine, and was your greatest supporter. He will be missed by all who knew him. My sincere condolences and deepest sympathies go to Gus' loved ones at this difficult time. I worked alongside Gus as a Supervisor at the TTC. Being new to the role and in my 20's, Gus would give me words of advice and guidance, which were much appreciated and useful. I will never forget the kindness and care Gus showed me in my first 2 years as a Supervisor. He was always good to me, and for this I will be forever grateful. Thank you Gus, I miss you.
