Dear Chesney Family, I am so sorry to learn of the passing of your parents. Sue and Bob were North York General Hospital colleagues of ours. My husband, Dr. Ralph Shaw (deceased 2013) and your Dad were great friends and shared many a story over their many years at NYGH. Your Mom and I met at many social functions and talked about our children, husbands and golf. I am sure this has been a very hard year for your family. I send my heart felt condolences. June Shaw

I worked with Bob at NYGH in the X Ray Department for fifteen years after he started working there and have only happy memories of a friendly, dedicated Doctor. My sincere condolences to his family at this sad time. .

We spent many dinners at the Chesney home. They were great entertainers . We also went to Florida with them and had a wonderful time. We will miss Bob with his quiet sense of humour and his interest in the world. It has not been a year yet when Sue died .i am sure that Bob felt that life was not worth living after is best friend was gone. We miss them both...Jill and Rich
