It is always hard to say goodbye to those we love. Some people are bigger than life and I think Kay was one of these people. We knew her through her daughter's family and saw how much she loved her family and in her own way, how good she was to them. She certainly had a very royal presence about her. You just don't expect someone like Kay to get old and pass on. They somehow inspire us to live life to the fullest. Our family will always remember her fondly. May you rest in peace Kathleen and say hi to Judy and Gord for us. Our hearts are with her family and friends at this sad time.

My deepest sympathy to Lang and Surphlis Families in feeling between two people I admired with great respect, Gordon and Kathleen. Kathleen was as beautiful inside as out with impeccable quality, fashion sense, harmonious, gracious excellence each time she entered a room, even today her beauty I will always remember. It was 30 years ago when I met the Lang's, the perfect couple with celebrity status, social liking because of their beautiful personalities. At Rosedale Golf and Granite Club, Mr. and Mrs. Lang where entertained with outstanding hospitality suited for royal nobility. It is heartfelt to know they have gone. It was a privilege to have met through many delightful conversations. Till we meet again, Joseph.

Please accept my deepest sympathy for the loss of Kathy. When someone we love dies, it brings us face-to-face with the sad reality that they are gone too soon. I hope that you can be comforted by God's Word, the Bible. There it tells us that 'there is going to be a resurrection.' (Acts 24:15) This promise can provide you a real hope of being reunited with her. (John 5:28, 29)
