Betty was a great and determined preservationist, an inspiring provider for future generations, at home and in public. Toronto has lost a great friend. My condolences to all of the Careless family.

To The Careless Family: It is sad to read of the passing of "Betty". I have many fond memories of her having known her for over 40 years and having her share with me her stories of early Toronto and her family history and experiences. She was a strong and determined Lady who I believe set a great example to her children and grandchildren. She will always be remembered by me.
