Isobel Waugh was a truly delightful person, and thoughts of her grace the memories of my childhood. Because she was a good friend of my mother (there is also some family connection, I think), my sisters and I had the good fortune of knowing her as well - her generous spirit, her friendly laugh, her caring manner. She gave one the impression that she was really having fun in the moment, and that she wanted to share that with you. Bruce, Marilyn, and Gordie were blessed with an extraordinarily lovely person in their mom. My sincere condolences to them and to their dad, Bill Waugh.

I send my deepest sympathy to Bill Waugh and his family. Our families have not ben in touch recently but I remember them very well. I knew Bill and Sydney Waugh on the Toronto Island and we kept in touch for years afterward. I would very much like to hear from someone in the family if possible. Yours, Jewel Rimmer
