Kathy, I was so sorry to hear that Frank is no longer with us. It has been years since he and I last met, but I have thought of him often in the intervening time. For me, he was a very special human being, someone I admired greatly and was pleased to consider a friend. And, of course, through Frank I met you and some of the children. Please remember me to Colin, To Virginia, and to David.

Frank was a man not only of great stature, but of great heart and spirit. I will always remember his cheerful and welcoming nature...interested more in others than himself. I enjoyed his readiness to discuss politics or world affairs and loved to hear stories of his travels or fishing adventures. Frank is a man I will never forget and I am grateful for the times we had together in Shanty Bay, Creemore and Ocean Reef. My sincere condolences are extended to Kathy and his family.

I only met Mr. Rolph once when Mary and Paul got married in Montreal. But I had the privilege of becoming a friend of Mary (whom I knew thru husband) over the last three decades and spent time with her children in Canada, Paris and Cape Town. Knowing now Mary's strong moral values, true friendship, high professional ethics, great creativity and sense of humor,I believe she holds them from her father. RIP
